Your tasks

  • Supporting the team in purchasing and coordination activities related to the purchase of High, Low and Medium Voltage Accessories
  • In charge of checking the needs, issuing RFQ’s, negotiating with the suppliers, and issuing purchase orders in the ERP system
  • Responsible for the review of purchase orders, the follow-up and ensuring timely purchase and arrival of goods: as order confirmation reminders, delivery reminders, communications and clarifications
  • Regular check and approval of invoices related to the purchase orders issued

Your skills

  • Basic technical education, with further training and experience in procurement or business administration
  • At least 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience in procurement
  • Ideally knowledge of the cable industry and the corresponding procurement market, mainly in the accessories field (materials and component for joints and terminations)
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritise tasks and achieve set targets
  • Proven communication and intercultural skills and confidence in dealing with different stakeholders
  • Very good command of written and spoken German and English. Other foreign languages (preferably Italian) are an advantage
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage)
