Position:

With a low staff turnover in the team and company as a whole, this is a broad role on the Investor Services Platform which would suit those with strong financial analysis, client operations fund services and investment analysis experience coming from middle to front type roles. Excellent working conditions and a generous compensation, this is an employer of choice on the market for dynamic, low-key high flyers, so great exposure even if the role is temporary. This is a hybrid role with 2 days remote - a temporary contract of between 6 to 9 months to start ASAP.

Calling those from asset management! Are you a client services specialist with good exposure to fund onboarding? Negotiating legal agreements as regards funds, dealing with pricing, expenses, fees and flow/liquidity issues? Do you have strong communication/negotiation skills with good attention to detail? If you are looking for a fresh challenge, and are between jobs at the moment, or your current temporary contract is ending soon, this could be just the job! 

Working closely with their UK and Luxembourg teams, you and the Geneva-based investor services team are primarily responsible for servicing the client's fund investors (namely client contact with the financial intermediaries' operations experts - such as banks), managing funds infrastructure and fund dealing as well as overseeing financial intermediaries distributing the funds and the outsourced service providers, notably the transfer agencies. You will report to the Investor Services Team Manager.

As part of a busy, close-knit team, you will mainly be responsible for directly supporting the the transfer agency investors transacting into our client's Funds. This will entail assisting in account openings, oversees daily fund activity and the outsourced transfer agency service provider. You will also leads the onboarding of new investors/clients, including coordinating the drafting, negotiation of relevant legal agreements. The role also includes that investors' and internal client queries are answered in a consistently prompt & professional manner, with the overall objective to deliver the highest service level to internal and external clients.

Primary responsibilities:

· Provides high level of service to existing and prospective investors as well as internal clients,

including responding to general queries in a timely manner

· Facilitates the account opening process between investor and/or their representative(s), internal

teams, and the outsourced transfer agency service provider(s)

· Leads and/or monitors new investor on-boarding including coordinating the drafting, negotiation

and ultimate signature of legal agreements and completion of AML requirements 

· Enters and updates investor information and accounts in the internal CRM system 

· Monitors and manages investors' dealing activity

· Oversees the process of the calculation of distribution fees paid to financial intermediaries

· Monitors quality of service delivery by external service providers, notably with respect to key

regulatory & operational requirements applying to Luxembourg SICAVs & UK OEICs

Profile:

  • Approximately 2-4 years' experience of working within an asset management company
  • Bachelors degree, higher education preferred or equivalent
  • Experience of Luxembourg, in a transfer agency oversight and/or investor support function for example
  • Experience in Luxembourg transfer agency oversight or investor support function for example
  • UK domiciled funds a strong plus
  • A solid experience in financial products and the asset classes + at ease with client relationships, fund onboarding and financial analysis (cash flow projections, deal sourcing etc)
  • Fluent/bilingual in English - both written and verbal
  • A track record of excellent customer service +effective communication with colleagues, counterparties, and clients
  • A highly organized, self-driven and committed team player
  • Strict attention to detail, execution accuracy and intellectual curiosity to learn and expand knowledge
  • At ease with Microsoft applications, experience with data visualization software like Tableau a plus
  • Available to start this temporary 6 to 9 month contract ASAP
  • Already living and working in the Geneva/Lausanne area and in possession of valid Swiss work permit or equivalent ("frontalier" accepted)
