The Position

ASPIRE is a multi-year, cross divisional, global program that will define, design, and deploy the future ERP solution based on SAP S/4 HANA and other cloud/on-premise technology platforms as the digital backbone of Roche. The program will enable simplified, standardized, and harmonized global business processes by leveraging SAP, Life Science Industry and Roche best practices.

Our Cell & Gene Therapy portfolio of new products comes with the great promise to bring unprecedented medical advances to patients but also presents unique challenges: living products (e.g. cells) need to be delivered to patients in highly individualized supply chain models, which require fast turn-around-times at a zero-error quality level. In this role, you will define requirements which enable a master data management workflow which can meet the needs for these highly individualized supply chain models.

As the ASPIRE Cell & Gene Therapy (CGT) Master Data Management (MDM) Expert you will be shaping the future of CGT at Roche, by helping to address key MDM challenges. You will be part of the CGT MDM team in O&EM (Orchestration & Exceptions Management) and will contribute to the evolution and growth of the capability from being able to support first late-stage clinical trials to being able to support a full portfolio of various CGT modalities in clinical and commercial stages. You will bring your passion and many skills to the table including the ability to autonomously drive complex MDM topics, your delivery oriented ways of working, your strong collaboration skills.

Your Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with SAP development team for data export/imports

  • Perform overall Master Data activities such as reporting, analysis, and requirements gathering

  • Join Data Migration workshops/trainings

  • Ensure timely completion of data cleansing tasks

  • Provide business insights for data extraction, conversion, and verification

  • Ensure data readiness and verify quality throughout data journey for assigned data objects

  • Verify/validate that the data is fit for purpose (including alignment with internal/external stakeholders) and check upload files before and after load for all assigned data objects

You bring (Must Haves)

  • Bachelor's and University Degree in relevant fields

  • 5+ years of work experience in a similar role

  • Experience with Materials and Production Master Data

  • Proficiency in SAP ERP (R3 & S4 HANA), SAP MDG-M, SAP DS/IS, SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Tableau or QlikView

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills (fluency in English is a must)
