The position is made for candidates with completed legal training with some relevant legal experience (or a commercial background in the financial industry, in particular in transaction management). If you enjoy being included in the work with a wide range of lively partners on different projects, this might be your opportunity.

The position is open from 1 July to 31 August 2024.

Your Main Tasks
  • Preparing, formatting, proof-reading, issuing and/or updating legal documents and contracts, such as powers of attorneys, NDAs, engagement letters, term sheets, etc.
  • Co-leading the signing of legal documentation in accordance with signing procedures from external law firm.
  • Reviewing policy language and other fund related requirements in Facility Agreements for debt transactions and leading preliminary waiver implementation, amendment agreements, extension letters etc.
  • Reviewing and managing the execution of documentation relating to the maintenance of the private equity portfolio, such as Proxies for General Meetings, tax obligations and other compliance documentation.
  • Leading Condition Precedent and Subsequent collection in cooperation with an external counsel and relevant counterparties.
  • Ensuring clean filing of relevant legal documentation (e.g., DD reports, CP lists, execution documents) by observing that compliance related tasks are fulfilled.
  • Keeping and updating legal documentation; liaising with and informing other parties where required.
  • Supporting Legal Counsels and Investment Officers in legal related processes and ad-hoc legal department initiatives.Establishing, organizing and tracking of workflows and legal documentation.
Your Experience and Skills
  • Commercial training in a financial institution or relevant studies, further training or studies in law.
  • Previous experience as intern in a law firm or a legal department in the financial industry; knowledge in investments would be a plus.
  • Well-developed organizational skills; detail-oriented; ability to prioritize and a proactive approach.
  • Business fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Enjoys working in a team and is able to work independently and interdependently by applying sound judgement skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Comfortable in learning new skills as needed and adaptable to evolving business needs.
