Your tasks
Act as the Tech Lead for our Backend team, mentoring and coaching engineers at all seniority levels
Lead major initiatives and projects on a technical level, optimizing data pipelines and service performance
Contribute to our evolving software architecture, making key technology decisions by participating in the architecture board
Build and maintain services mainly written in Node.js with NestJS using Redis, DynamoDB, SQL databases, and SOLR
Working in an agile project team supporting other teams by delivering performant and robust backend functionality and services
Your profile
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent and 6+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong emphasis on Node.js
Solid understanding of back-end technologies such as Node.js, Redis, DynamoDB, SQL Databases, and modern service frameworks like NestJS
You are familiar with GraphQL, containerized development, and hosting (Docker), and know AWS CLI and/or console
Experience working with GIT and automated CI/CD pipelines and release cycles
Deep knowledge of caching strategies to unload the origin
Fluency in English; German is a plus
