The CLS group is therefore looking for candidates interested in the development of related simulation technology, as well as theoretical and applied modelling studies. Additional topics of interest include uncertainty assessment, validation, optimization, image-based modelling, etc.

The PhD candidate will join a highly motivated and dynamic team working in various related research areas to conduct independent and original research under supervision on the development of simulation technologies, software tools, and platforms for neurostimulation.

We are seeking a creative, talented, and ambitious candidate with an interest in computational life sciences (CLS) and a university degree (diploma or master’s) in life sciences, natural sciences (biophysics, physics, mathematics), medical physics, or biomedical engineering; preferably with solid scientific programming skills (Python, C++, etc.), competence in computational neuroscience, and, ideally, familiarity with NEURON (Yale); good organizational skills, high motivation, and flexibility; excellent ability to work both independently and as part of a team, including external collaborators.As soon as possible
