Are you passionate about the development and research of medical products? Join our ISO 17025 Type C accredited testing laboratory and become a member of our research group. You will be responsible for the development of new testing methods, as well as the planning and execution of test method validations, the analysis of measurement data using LabView and Matlab, and supporting educational activities such as supervising project work and internships.

Your role

  • Development and enhancement of testing procedures and their application in the research of dental implants in an ISO 17025 Type C accredited testing laboratory
  • Planning and execution of test method validations
  • Analysis of measurement data using LabView and Matlab
  • Support of educational activities, such as supervising project work and internships

Your profile

  • You have a university degree in Biomechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • You are proficient in CAD design and fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • You are enthusiastic about research activities in close collaboration with the industry and possess fundamental knowledge of implant technology and measurement techniques.
  • You have programming skills in LabView, Matlab, or R, and have advanced knowledge in the field of statistics, making you an ideal candidate for our research group.
  • You are an organizational talent, communicative, and a team player.
  • You demonstrate an independent and precise working style and are motivated to drive interdisciplinary applied research in a young team.

The "Biomechanical" Engineering focus deals with the function and pathologies of the musculoskeletal system and operates a testing laboratory certified according to ISO 17025. In the future, the focus will expand to include smart implant and manufacturing technologies as well as innovative rehabilitation and surgical technologies.
