What you'll be doing here

  • Collaboration in the research field of knowledge systems and knowledge exchange with a focus on co-production of knowledge and in teaching
  • Collaboration in the management of existing third-party funded projects and acquisition of projects
  • Collaboration in existing transdisciplinary research projects with co-production and "social learning video" methods, e.g. in the EU project Gov4ALL "Governance and business models for living labs: rural regeneration hubs for tackling soil health challenges in the Mediterranean region"
  • Teaching and coaching on transdisciplinary and qualitative methods in the Master's degree program "Circular Innovation and Sustainability" CIS and in the module on intercultural skills

What you'll bring with you

  • Completed and published doctoral thesis in geography, ethnology or related social science disciplines, reference to agriculture and/or land use an advantage
  • Experience in transdisciplinary work
  • Experience in working with qualitative methods and in working with film (camera and editing)
  • Enjoyment of transdisciplinary research, high motivation to work closely in teams and with different practice partners, to be constructive in exchange and to reflect on one's own practice
  • Very good knowledge of German and French for project implementation in Switzerland and very good knowledge of English. Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage for projects abroad
