In our quest to revolutionize the world's infrastructure, we're seeking a dynamicIncident & Vulnerability Coordinatorfor our Cybersecurity Business Support Team within SI B Cybersecurity Unit.
Location: While our preferred location is the Siemens Smart Infrastructure headquarters inZug, Switzerland, we are open to candidates based in other key locations within the EU and Buffalo Grove, Chicago Area - USA
The Role
As an Incident Vulnerability Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating incident response and vulnerability management efforts across our organization. This includes developing and maintaining the incident response plan, ensuring effective communication during incidents, and preparing detailed reports for executive stakeholders. You will play a critical role in enhancing our cybersecurity posture and ensuring the safety and security of our infrastructure.
You will be a member of the global Cybersecurity governance department, reporting to C-level executives and within that, part of the Cybersecurity Business Support team.
Your new responsibilities
- Incident Management:Develop and maintain the incident response plan, ensuring it is up-to-date and effective
- Coordination:Serve as the primary point of contact for incident response and vulnerability management activities
- Communication:Coordinate communication between teams and stakeholders during incidents and vulnerability management processes
- Reporting:Prepare detailed incident and vulnerability reports for appropriate stakeholders to provide insights and recommendations
- Process Improvement:Enhance our response to future incidents, systematically review and integrate lessons learned from past experiences into our process's, protocols and training programs
- Training and Awareness:Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the organization's awareness and preparedness for security incidents and vulnerabilities
Your talents and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Professional Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, or GCIH are highly desirable
- 5-10 years of experience in incident response and vulnerability management roles
- Proficiency with cybersecurity tools and technologies, including incident management platforms and vulnerability scanning tools
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination abilities, with a focus on stakeholder engagement
- A strong customer focus and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Fluent in English, with the ability to explain complex topics in an engaging manner
- Proficiency in German or additional languages is a plus
