The Global Commercial Director role is to develop the global framework and implement and authorize commercial (pricing) strategies for the Health, Nutrition & Care Business Unit. We are looking for an industry expert who can leverage their commercial expertise in the Nutritional segment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Developing pricing strategies to optimize results for our Health, Nutrition & Care Business Unit, ensuring they accurately reflect supply and demand dynamics to drive growth in our areas of focus.
  • Actively participating in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) efforts to enhance forecast accuracy and support improvements in the supply chain. This is crucial for the company and should foster a more customer-centric approach across the organization.
  • Establishing a collaborative environment both locally and globally to drive business objectives in an agile and value-driven manner, requiring strong attributes of empathy, determination, and adaptability.
  • Working closely with Product Management to foster growth and profitability, with particular emphasis on executing category strategies for each product family to align with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Collaborating on marketing and segment positioning efforts, ensuring alignment with regional, segment, and key account priorities that guide our daily operations.
  • Providing accurate and insightful reports to global Commercial management, serving as valuable input for leadership decision-making processes.

You bring

  • A university degree in a relevant field and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Knowledge and understanding of market dynamics in the Nutrition Ingredients industry.
  • Background in Sales and Business Development within a B2B environment.
  • A thorough understanding of marketing-mix strategies and the dynamics of price/volume characteristics in a highly competitive market.
  • Exceptional leadership and influencing skills, capable of orchestrating multifunctional resources.
  • Proficiency in Project Management methodologies.
