QHSE Manager (f/m/x)

Do you have a passion for ensuring that a workplace is healthy, safe, sustainable, and of high quality? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for. As the QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager, you will work comprehensively within the QHSE area to ensure a safe, sustainable, and high-quality operation. You will systematically coordinate the QHSE efforts and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The work is varied and involves a great deal of collaboration and close cooperation throughout the entire organization. For example, you will support the organization's managers and report to the management.

Work tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Implement, maintain, and develop QHSE processes and management systems
  • Promote a culture of safety within the organization and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations concerning quality, occupational health, safety, and the environment
  • Train employees in QHSE procedures and promote a culture of QHSE awareness within the organization
  • Develop and deliver QHSE induction training for new employees
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, and take appropriate corrective and preventative actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Serve as a natural point of contact with authorities and other stakeholders
  • Monitor developments in the QHSE field
  • Appraise vendors on a regular basis and to score vendors on a points system and document for QHSE audits
  • Undertake regular audits of the QHSE Management System, and take appropriate corrective and preventative actions to address any non-conformities
  • Ensure that products conform to drawings and specifications according to technical design
  • Ensure that production techniques meet the necessary standards to effectively manufacture quality products

YOU KNOW

You hold an academic degree in a relevant field combined with at least five years of professional experience working with QHSE and management systems based on ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. You are responsible and capable of working independently, while also possessing strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you have a high ability at building relationships and to easily establish new connections, as the role involves close collaboration with all departments within the organization. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.

It`s a plus if you also have:

  • Certification as a professional safety engineer (CSP), certified industrial hygienist (CIH), or similar
  • Experience auditing QHSE systems against ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
  • Thorough understanding of risk management principles
  • Experience developing and implementing QHSE Management Systems
