DevOps Engineer (80-100% - all genders)

• You actively contribute to the development of one of the largest identity systems in Switzerland.
• You will improve our digital identity solutions, in particular Switch edu-ID, eduroam and Switch Sign, and ensure operational excellence. You will support us in expanding our services to cloud-native environments using state-of-the-art technologies.
• With your good software development (e.g. Java, PHP, Go) and DevOps skills, you will operate and enhance our services.
• You identify, analyze and solve problems and work with your team to further develop our solutions. Additionally, you coordinate adjustments and initiatives to ensure a seamless change management process.
• You participate in 2nd/3rd level support and iteratively improve the products based on direct customer feedback.
• A university degree in computer science or comparable qualifications as well as good expertise in DevOps engineering.
• A deep understanding of authentication and authorization as well as a solid knowledge of established protocols (SAML, OIDC). A general interest in identity-based solutions and the future of identity systems is a must.
• Good programming skills in an object-oriented language and relevant frameworks (preferably Java Spring Boot)
• Knowledge of Linux, Git (Gitlab), Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and general DevOps practices.
• Good communication in English is a must. German (preferred), French or Italian is an advantage.
