As part of the Market Risk Team you will join our team within the CRO department assessing and managing risk for our trading business. You will work in partnership with the trading desk in the Markets department to form conclusions on the risk appetite for the firm. Market Risk is a collaborative team and we want your perspective to help us innovate the next wave of risk management solutions.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in monitoring, maintaining and improving the company's risk management framework for trading product across all asset classes. You will work closely with different control functions from Product Control, Finance, Legal and Compliance. • ​Protect the bank by producing and monitoring risk exposures and market risk capital

• Highlighting key risks and factors that drive P&L including market movements

• Innovative different tools and methods for reviewing and analyzing risks that arise in the trading department

• Partner with key stakeholders: Trading, Finance, Operations, colleagues in the CRO division

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong quantitative academic background but we recruit from all academic backgrounds

• Experience in Market Risk Management within a or Trading company

• Strong knowledge of securities, OTC derivatives and options trading

• Understanding of financial markets trading life-cycle flow

• Experience reviewing trading positions and creating risk-management frameworks

• Programming experience with Python

• Team player and future leader with exceptional drive, creativity and interpersonal skills

• Lateral thinking, inquisitive, tenacious, detail focused and commitment to getting things done

• Excellent communication skills; business fluent in English
