System Integrator

Your contribution

In this versatile role, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of laboratory automation systems as part of multidisciplinary project teams. As a System Integrator, you will build functional prototypes and prototypes, test functionalities, analyze errors, and work closely with mechanics, electronics, and software teams to develop solutions and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Building functional prototypes
• Integration of prototype or pilot devices
• Analysis of customer problems
• Compilation and preparation of results
• Error analysis and documentation
• Development and maintenance of integration tools and methods
• Creation of appropriate test scripts to test specific functionalities
• Hardware and software configuration management
• Preparation of feasibility studies
• Support, close collaboration, and partial tasks in Systems Engineering

Your background

• Technical education with a focus on engineering or a relevant field, with further qualifications as an engineer (FH) or technician (TS).
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary knowledge in engineering, with expertise in electronics, mechanics, software development (including scripting and C#), and familiarity with principles of chemistry, biology, and physics.
• Proficiency in PC hardware configuration and usage, demonstrating a deep understanding of computer systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
