As theAlzheimer’s Disease: Trontinemab Lifecycle Leader (LCL), you are accountable for the Trontinemab molecule vision, strategy and key priorities, and serve as a connector and catalyst to drive realization of this ambition.You will partner closely across the Roche Enterprise – in particular with pRED PTL and pRED teams, PD, Partnering, Diagnostics, GPS and PDMA leads – to help identify and prioritize opportunities to advance and accelerate thetrontinemab program.

In this role as Lifecycle Leader Alzheimer’s Disease, you will be accountable for:

  • Shaping the long term vision and strategy for Trontinemab and Alzheimer’s Disease in partnership with REDs, PD, Partnering, Diagnostics, GPS and PDMA leads

  • Supporting licensing and other business development activities and partner with GPS, pRED, gRED and PD

  • Influencing molecule optimization within and across the Disease Area plus relevant therapeutic areas ensuring consideration is given to critical decisions which could impact value capture

  • Leading a team of direct and indirect reports and collaborating with functional leaders to shape team composition, membership and selection based on the needs of the trontinemab program. Inspiring and aligning people towards a vision while building a culture of accountability, collaboration, strategic prioritization, diversity, inclusion and trust

  • Acting from a whole system perspective, displaying an enterprise portfolio mindset and understanding the big picture of how the organization’s mission fits in the marketplace. Also acting with a sense of urgency and curiosity, takes smart risks; embodies an entrepreneurial growth mindset to reach beyond boundaries, and experiments with the right balance between long term and short term outcomes

  • Deliver and implement an aligned end-to-end trontinemab strategy, lifecycle plan and all activities governed by the Late Stage Portfolio Committee to maximize the life-cycle value to patients, society and Roche. You will make decisions for the molecule/s across all functions and are the single decision-maker while empowering sub-team leaders. You are accountable to ensure appropriate internal and external advice needed for decisions. You are a standing member of the respective Disease Area Team(s) and you will design molecule strategies in the context of disease level strategies where applicable

You bring the following qualifications:

  • Scientific and commercial understanding of the Neuroscience space (in particular in the areas of Alzheimer’s Disease) with an established network of external stakeholders is preferred. Development and/or Lifecycle team experience preferred. MBA, MD, PhD or other relevant Graduate or Postgraduate Degree is preferred

  • Outstanding VACC (Visionary, Architect, Catalyst and Coach) leadership skills: proven track record in building teams and ability to influence in a collaborative way within a cross functional environmentas well as exceptional strategic orientation and agility: outstanding ability to develop long term vision and deep understanding of the global pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry to create robust and innovative business strategies

  • Demonstrable previous accomplishments should include developing and overseeing the execution of breakthrough development and/or commercial strategies that have led to considerable financial results and increased the long-term, sustainable success of multiple products

  • Proven abilities to work effectively in a complex, matrix environment, across numerous time zone and also extensive experience in launch planning and management, deep understanding of global health systems and access/reimbursement challenges, and product life-cycle planning and management

  • Proven track record for consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or other quantitative targets, as well as qualitative goals, for large departments/teams in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related industry. Fluent written and verbal English
