For our client, a well-known technology company (active in the areas of hardware and software development), we are looking for an enthusiastic
Office Location: Zurich, CH (near the main station “Zurich HB”)
This role requires to work across multiple timezones. While most of the team is located in CET there is collaboration required with team members in PST timezone.
Your responsibilities
Channel Memberships connects creators with their viewers. It allows viewers to get more from the creators and the channels they love. Viewers can support their favorite creators through Channel Memberships, get access to exclusive perks, be recognized and earn loyalty rewards over time. Channel Memberships is a fan funding feature.
As a UXR on the team, you will
- partner with cross functional teams to run UXR studies that help shape the product, design and fine tune the user experience. You’ll work closely with other UXRs
- in the area defining the research projects e2e and executing on them, working closely with the Product and Engineering to understand the research needs.
- Job responsibilities include partnering closely with the lead UXRs and cross functional stakeholders on the team and independently scoping & executing research studies
- Design and conduct a mix of tactical and strategic research across all stages of the product development lifecycle.
- Prioritize, plan, balance, manage, and execute prioritized work, making progress independently to achieve well-defined research objectives.
Your skillset
- Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Master’s degree in Technology or design field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of total UXR experience (in an agency or in-house setting)
- Demonstrated experience impacting design and product development
- Advanced command of traditional qualitative and quantitative UXR methodologies, including but not limited to in-depth-interviews, concept research, usability studies, and surveys
- Ability to identify research needs and underlying questions in close collaboration with product and engineering teams. Ability to prioritize research needs in line with business needs
- Knowledge of the overall process for developing products. This includes knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of engineering and other functions, major phases, checkpoints, and deliverables. This also includes the ability to identify common issues and considerations for delivering a product.
- Knowledge of the full research lifecycle from planning, to execution, to communicating insights, to impacting product and business direction or strategy.
- Ability to influence and inspire an audience by crafting stories using data that elicit user or stakeholder empathy or create buy-in. Ability to effectively communicate and illustrate research insights and recommendations by constructing narratives based on appropriately represented data.
