In this non-profit foundation, around 600 dedicated employees work daily to provide high-quality and appreciative long-term care.

As part of the succession planning, we are looking for candidates starting early 2026

Profile 1: Type "Digitalization in Healthcare"

Knowledge of digitalization strategies, ideally in the healthcare sector, e.g., the introduction of electronic patient record systems or other digital solutions
Experience with the automation and standardization of processes in healthcare to increase efficiency and quality
In-depth knowledge of digital transformation processes (both internal and external within integrated care) and the associated challenges such as data protection, interoperability, and user-friendliness
Understanding of the integration of new digital technologies and their impact on daily management and the improvement of healthcare services

Profile 2: Type "Expert in Political Processes and Actors in Healthcare"

Knowledge of political structures and decision-making processes in the canton of Bern and their influence on healthcare
Experience in collaborating with political actors, authorities, and other healthcare institutions at the cantonal level
Familiarity with key persons and procedures in the healthcare system of the canton of Bern
Ability to recognize political trends and developments in healthcare and derive strategic recommendations for the foundation

General requirements (for the entire board):

As a board member, you see yourself as an active ambassador of the tilia Foundation. Knowledge of nursing processes is an advantage. You are free from conflicts of interest regarding tilia's activities. You have the necessary time availability for about 5 to 6 meetings per year as well as an additional seat on one of the committees.
