The city of Illnau-Effretikon - located between Winterthur and Zurich - offers attractive conditions for the approximately 18,000 inhabitants with its rural and urban areas, hamlets, centers, and the historic village of Kyburg.
The municipal collection point serves the population for the disposal of all kinds of waste and recyclable materials and is located in the Vogelsang industrial area, a 10-minute walk from Effretikon train station.
We are immediately looking to temporarily complete our team until at least December 31, 2025 a customer-oriented personality on an hourly wage basis as
YOUR TASKS IN THIS POSITION ARE:
Assisting in the operation of the municipal waste collection point
Customer service during the collection point's opening hours.
Ensuring orderly use of parking spaces; traffic control
Dismantling of non-combustible bulky waste
Ensuring the container cycle: checking fill levels, proper replacement if necessary
Collecting waste fees and operating the cash register
Ensuring general order and compliance with house rules
Various cleaning and tidying tasks
YOUR PROFILE FITS PERFECTLY IF YOU:
Have good physical condition; enjoy working outdoors
Possess social skills (open, friendly demeanor, assertiveness, reliability, resilience, sense of responsibility)
Have manual skills
Can communicate and advise our customers in German
