Head of Enterprise Transformation
Job Description
This role ensures alignment with corporate objectives, accelerates operational efficiency, and fosters innovation through cross-functional collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Transformation Delivery
Define and execute the enterprise transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with SCOR’s corporate strategy and priorities.
Develop an end-to-end process vision and deliver process definition and implementation, integrating capabilities from technology, data, AI, and business to enable continuous delivery and value creation.
Advise the Executive Committee on transformation priorities, progress, and impact.
Program & Project Management
Oversee the delivery of major transformation programs and projects, providing project management capabilities and ensuring timely, high-quality execution.
Lead a team of senior project managers and business analysts, fostering a high-performance, delivery-focused culture.
Drive adoption of agile methodologies and best practices across transformation initiatives.
Innovation & Change Enablement
Promote digitalization, process automation, and data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.
Champion cultural change and employee engagement, working closely with the dedicated change management team to embed transformation thinking into program design and execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with business lines (L&H, P&C) and support functions (Finance, Data, Risk, etc.) to deliver integrated, end-to-end solutions and process reengineering.
Facilitate knowledge sharing and alignment across global teams.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Act as a central point of contact for transversal transformation topics, ensuring alignment between business, technical, and transformation stakeholders.
Translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and ensure consistent delivery across domains.
Lead cross-functional workshops to foster shared understanding and strategic alignment.
Governance, Performance & Compliance
Collaborate with the team responsible for project governance frameworks to ensure consistency and transparency across transformation programs.
Define and monitor KPIs and OKRs for each program to measure performance, effectiveness, and strategic impact.
Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and proactively manage risks and dependencies.
Technical Fluency
Maintain a strong understanding of engineering practices, system architecture, and integration patterns to ensure technical feasibility and scalability of solutions.
Collaborate with tech leads and architects, promoting best practices in cybersecurity, data privacy, and platform reliability.
Qualifications
Required experience & competencies
10+ years in transformation leadership roles within global organizations.
Proven track record managing complex, cross-functional programs and teams.
Senior experience in product ownership or management within the (re)insurance industry, ideally in multi-product environments.
Strong understanding of P&C and L&H business models and regulatory environments.
Expertise in agile methodologies and scaled agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe).
Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills at executive level.
Strategic thinker with strong stakeholder management and the ability to balance long-term vision with short-term execution.
Technologically savvy, with familiarity in engineering practices and technical product development.
Required Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management (e.g., CSPO, SAFe PO/PM) highly desirable.
Additional training or certification in reinsurance or insurance operations is a plus.
