The Digital Learning Hub Secondary II - a dynamically robust organization - connects teachers from vocational education schools and secondary schools to support them in the digital transformation and provide orientation. In doing so, we consistently place pedagogy at the center. We promote forward-looking, innovative teaching and learning methods, make insights available, organize exchange and networking, and identify and coordinate further training needs. Due to the retirement of the current position holder, we are looking for a new head as of March 1, 2027.
Your area of responsibility
You will be responsible for the operational, pedagogical-technical, personnel, financial, and administrative management of the Digital Learning Hub Secondary II. Based on RRB 873/2022, you will implement the strategies and core tasks within the framework of the digital transformation of Secondary II. You represent the DLH internally and externally, especially towards schools and organizations in the Secondary II education system. You are accountable to the supervisory body, which includes representatives from Secondary II schools. You ensure collaboration with the Educational Technology department of the Digital Service Center of Secondary II of the MBA and other MBA specialist departments (e.g., legal service, personnel, communication).
Your profile
We are looking for an innovative personality characterized by a high level of commitment and a special pedagogical IT affinity, as well as a strong interest in topics related to the digital transformation of Secondary II. For this position, you bring a completed university degree and teaching experience at the Secondary II level or a comparable qualification. You are a communicative personality who is confident in leading a lean, pragmatic, dynamically robust network organization of teachers with part-time workloads. You have a pronounced modern leadership understanding with flat hierarchies, enabling scope for action in an expert organization. Last but not least, you are humorous and approach challenges with ease and confidence. Our common task connects us; we work networked and in changing team compositions to optimally meet the changing pedagogical needs of Secondary II schools in the canton of Zurich.
