In this versatile role, you will work in a team on small to medium-sized construction sites in civil engineering, road construction, and utility line construction in our municipality.

Allschwil is one of the largest municipalities in Northwestern Switzerland and is an innovative suburb of Basel. The proximity to this city shapes Allschwil's character without the municipality losing its political and mental independence.

We are looking for an employee for the Operations Department starting April 1, 2026, or by arrangement.

As an employee in a small, well-coordinated, and motivated team, you belong to the structural maintenance team of the municipal operations of Allschwil. You work in a team on small to medium-sized construction sites in civil engineering, road construction, and utility line construction.

Your area of responsibility

• Maintenance and repairs of roads inside and outside the settlement area

• General civil engineering and utility line construction as well as pavement installation (also by hand)

• And installation work (setting straps, edge and joint stones, and pavements)

• Maintenance work on municipal properties and facilities

• Structural maintenance of the sewer network

• Co-responsible for parking service on vehicles and machines

• Assistance with winter service and littering operations as well as provision for markets

• And municipal events

• Optional: Work in the locksmith's shop for repairs on road signs

Your profile

• You have completed training as a road builder or mason; several years of professional experience is an advantage

• You are characterized by independent and reliable work, are physically resilient, a team player, and have good manners

• You are willing to work weekend shifts

• Driver's license category B, ideally trailer license BE
