Our Business Delivery division is responsible for the implementation and operation of customer solutions. To strengthen our project team, we are looking for a committed and technically skilled person as a Frontend Developer.

Do you want to design modern user interfaces and applications and help customers create digital experiences that convince? Then you are in the right place with us. In this role, you develop sophisticated frontends, work with contemporary technologies, and ensure that complex requirements are translated into clear, intuitive, and high-performance interfaces.

In doing so, you analyze existing applications, design UI and UX improvements, and implement them in cleanly structured, maintainable code. You work closely with project managers, backend developers, business analysts, and UX specialists, jointly developing requirements and transforming them into concrete solutions. With your experience, you contribute to continuously improving the quality, consistency, and user-friendliness of our customer solutions.

This is your task:

• Implementation of modern web frontends based on current technologies and frameworks
• Development of individual web applications with high demands on quality, performance, and user experience
• Further development, optimization, and technical expansion of existing applications
• Making well-founded design and architectural decisions as well as developing solution proposals considering technical, professional, and operational requirements
• Participation in conception and UI/UX design
• Customer consulting and workshop support in the areas of usability and innovative web user interfaces
• Use and evaluation of state-of-the-art tools and technologies
• Responsibility for clean code reviews, technical documentation, and compliance with quality and security standards
• Mentoring less experienced developers and actively contributing to the further development of our frontend stack and development guidelines

What you should bring

• Professional experience as a frontend developer or web developer
• Outstanding knowledge of TypeScript with the use of JSX
• Deep experience with libraries/frameworks such as React.js or Next.js
• Experience in the Java portal environment (e.g., Liferay Digital Experience Platform) is an advantage
• Know-how in accessibility, responsive design, and usability
• Familiarity with web services and REST APIs
• A flair for design, typography
• Solution- and customer-oriented with a high sense of responsibility and quality awareness
• Confident German and good English skills (B2 and above)
