The Energy & Water department is responsible for the reliable supply of these plants with steam, water, compressed air, and other media on our approximately 600,000 square meter company site, including the pretreatment of various process wastewater qualities. Wastewater Treatment Specialist Energy & Water (m/f/d)

Your Responsibilities

Reliable and compliant operation of the wastewater pretreatment plants
Return of rainwater and used river water in compliance with legal requirements
Ensuring the availability of our sewer systems (separate sewer system) as well as the supply systems and operating media for the production site
Reliable and compliant operation of the operating plants for steam generation, water treatment, water, compressed air, nitrogen, etc., as well as maintenance of their distribution networks
Performing maintenance and repair work as well as conversion, optimization of work processes, modernization, and commissioning of the plants, including supervision of external craftsmen
Handling various administrative tasks such as energy billing, inventory bookings, ordering, and checklists

Your Profile

Professional certificate as wastewater treatment specialist, wastewater operator advantageous
Completed mechanical/technical vocational training such as polymechanic, industrial mechanic, plant mechanic, process mechanic, plumber, heating installer, or similar
Excellent comprehension and eagerness to learn new things
Willingness to participate in internal and external training (e.g., steam cycle, operating lifting platforms/forklifts, and more)
Passion for a complex and highly interesting field (steam boilers, wastewater treatment plant, water supply)
Reliable, independent, team player
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
Willingness for on-call duty (approx. 1 week per month, no shift work)
