Hey, we are AF Tissue Expert Switzerland AG. We are the central shared service center within a family-run group of hygiene paper manufacturers in Switzerland and abroad in Europe.
As AF Tissue Expert Switzerland AG, we bundle all overarching functions such as finance, HR, IT, purchasing, sales, and planning and work closely with our production sites Tela (Niederbipp) and Cartaseta (Gretzenbach).
Tela and Cartaseta stand for high-quality hygiene papers, modern technology, and sustainable production processes. While production takes place daily at the plants, we at AF Tissue Expert Switzerland AG ensure that the administrative, organizational, and strategic framework conditions are right – practical, efficient, and always in direct exchange with the plants.

You work close to the plants, understand their needs, and actively shape how our production sites are supported today and in the future.

HR Specialist 100% (m/f/d)
Tasks
- Complete administration from entry to exit
From contract creation through onboarding to exit, you independently and professionally handle the entire HR administration.
- Contact person for managers and employees
With your expertise, you are the first point of contact for all HR questions and support both managers and employees in all personnel-related matters.
- Main responsibility for work clothing
You take responsibility for the organization, procurement, and provision of work clothing and ensure that our employees are always well equipped.
- Case management
As part of absence and health management, you manage cases in a structured and solution-oriented manner and work closely with internal and external parties.
- Management of time tracking system
You ensure the correct maintenance and administration of our time tracking system.
- Payroll processing & social insurances
You are responsible for the complete and timely processing of payroll with Abacus and ensure that all social insurances are correctly processed and paid.
- Creation of reports
You prepare various HR reports, analyze data, and provide important decision-making bases.
- HR projects
You actively contribute to HR projects, drive innovations forward, and support the implementation of new concepts and processes.
- Support within the entire HR team
As a team player, you also get involved in cross-functional topics and thus contribute to a strong and reliable team performance.
- Optimization of HR processes
You question existing workflows, further develop them, and implement optimizations to keep our HR processes efficient, modern, and future-oriented.
Profile
- Education & basics
You have completed a commercial basic education and have further qualified yourself in your field with advanced training as an HR specialist with a professional certificate.
- Professional experience
Thanks to your several years of experience in an HR generalist role – ideally in an industrial environment – you bring the necessary skills to act confidently and competently in all HR areas.
- Legal knowledge
You have solid knowledge of Swiss labor law and social insurance and can confidently apply this in your daily work.
- Digital tools
Handling digital HR tools is natural for you. Ideally, you have already gained experience with Abacus or are open to quickly familiarizing yourself with this system.
- Working & thinking style
A structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style characterizes you. You approach challenges practically and purposefully and do not lose overview even in complex situations.
- Resilience & organizational talent
You are able to manage various tasks in parallel, set priorities correctly, and keep an overview even during high workload phases. Others appreciate your organizational talent and reliability.
