Who are we looking for?

As a Coordinator Transport Logistics, you ensure that our global transport network with external logistics service providers (Third Party Logistics – 3PL) operates smoothly and efficiently. You monitor performance, develop improvement measures, and work closely with regional organizations.

Another focus of your activity is the introduction of our new transport management system (Transport Management System – TMS). You gradually take responsibility for operational transport planning and actively shape the implementation of this system as a future platform at Hilti.

This full-time position is available immediately.

What are your tasks?

Performance management and process improvement: You monitor the service quality of our external logistics service providers (3PL) in the area of truck and express, initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations, and continuously work on sustainable improvement of quality and processes – including regular review meetings with key partners.

Implementation of the TMS – operational planning:
You actively shape transport planning and drive the introduction of our new transport management system (TMS). This includes, among other things, planning, change management, and problem solving.

Contact person for operational activities: You are the hub of our transport logistics and ensure that our products arrive on time worldwide.

Organization of special transports: You coordinate special transports and are responsible for handling damage and complaint cases in cooperation with our partners.

What you bring:

Completed studies in logistics, supply chain, or business (with initial practical experience in transport logistics for business), alternatively training in transport/shipping (e.g., freight forwarding clerk) with 1–3 years of experience in international shipping coordination.

Practical experience with transport management systems and/or ERP systems, knowledge of Incoterms and international transports, focus on road transport

Strong organizational skills, communication strength, problem-solving competence, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure

Good German and English skills, both spoken and written; any additional language is an advantage
