The counseling for hard of hearing and deaf people (BFSUG) Aargau Solothurn promotes the social and professional integration of people with hearing impairments. We advise and support those affected, relatives, and professionals in spoken and sign language – close to everyday life, resource-oriented, and with great commitment.
Our interdisciplinary team currently consists of social workers and a specialist in work integration. Together we take on job coaching mandates, raise awareness among employers, accompany professional paths, and advocate for equal participation.
To further expand the area of work integration, we are looking for a motivated personality as of now or by arrangement who enjoys accompanying people on their professional path – with expertise, heart, and humor.
We are looking for, as of now or by arrangement, a
Specialist in Work Integration / Job Coach 60-80%
Your tasks:
Conducting professional job coaching for hard of hearing and deaf job seekers (workplace adjustment, aids, communication, sensitization)
Support throughout the entire application process (location assessment, application documents, interviews, job start)
Acquisition and support of trial work periods, performance assessments, and permanent employment
Contact person for employers and support in maintaining the workplace
Support of initial vocational training throughout its duration as well as searching for follow-up solutions
Collaboration with IV, RAV, and other referring agencies
Close interdisciplinary cooperation within the BFSUG team
Participation in projects and working groups – room for co-design is explicitly desired
Your profile:

Training in job coaching / work integration (e.g., Job Coach BP, CAS Job Coaching) or training in social work, personnel placement, counseling, etc. with relevant practical experience
Experience in disability services is an advantage, especially in the hard of hearing / deaf area
Sign language competence or willingness to learn it
Interest in labor market, social insurance, and integration issues
Independent, structured working style as well as organizational skills
Good IT user skills
Very good oral and written expression
Life experience, humor, patience, and composure in dealing with complex situations
Enjoyment of relationship work, networking, and creative solutions
Resilient, reliable, discreet – with a clear value compass
