Job Description
Data is at the core of SCOR strategic plan Forward 2026 as one of its four enablers. As part of this ambition, the Data Platform team has a key role to play.
Responsible of the technological stack & platform, the data delivery, the overall data architecture and the entreprise data model, the Data Platform team supports the delivery of analytical use cases while ensuring the global consistency of data across SCOR information system.
The Data Platform team, international and multi-cultural, mixes various profiles (data engineering, data modeling, data and platform architecture) to make SCOR the reinsurer of tomorrow.
As part of this team, the Palantir Foundry Integration Architect oversees the integration and use of Palantir Foundry within SCOR Information System. He / she plays a fundamental role in the optimal use of this technology at company level by identifying when and where to leverage it as a business accelerator, while guaranteeing its compliant integration.
The Palantir Foundry Integration Architect needs to:
- Be problem-solving oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Be autonomous and rigorous in the way he/she approaches technical challenges
- Advise on the architecture and use of the platform
- Collaborate with various stakeholders (data & analytics engineers, architects, solutions owners, business representatives) to advise on the integration and use of the platform at company level
- Commit and bring his/her skills to contribute to the success of the Group
Responsibilities
Under the responsibility of the Head of Data Platform, your mission will be to:
- Advise and collaborate with business, tech, data and architecture to ensure consistency in the role of Palantir Foundry as an accelerator for SCOR:
- Advise on when and how to use Palantir Foundry against business-driven use cases, including benefits & risks assessments.
- Review technical solutions leveraging the use of Palantir Foundry from an architectural angle (design, integration).
- Be a key contributor to SCOR Data Design Authority board when it comes to Palantir Foundry questions.
- Oversee the integration of Palantir Foundry at entrerprise level:
- Oversee the integration patterns with SCOR Information System under all aspects (technical integration, compliance, security, (a)synchrony).
- Ensure smooth interoperability between Foundry and the rest of SCOR ecosystem, including but not limited to Data Platform landscape.
- Support the platform team:
- Be a referent on Palantir Foundry technology.
- Provide guidance on implementation patterns.
- Support when punctual expertise is required.
Qualifications
- +5 years of experience as a data engineer or data architect, data oriented mindset
- Strong conceptual skills, ability to design systems and interactions
- Knowledge on data management and data privacy topics
- Knowledge of (Re)insurance industry and / or Financial Services is a plus
- Knowledge of regulatory environments such as IFRS17, SII, DORA is a plus
Technical Skills :
- Strong technical knowledge of Palantir Foundry, proven experience in managing integration with the platform
- Strong knowledge of Pyspark and python, ranging from data pipeline development to API integration
- Strong knowledge in integration patterns (synchronous / asynchronous, batch, API, etc.)
Behavioral & Management Skills :

Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, software or computer engineering, applied math, physics, statistics, or a related field or equivalent experience
