We are looking for you, as our new colleague and embedded software engineer. In this role, you bridge between cutting-edge AI and ultra low-power embedded systems by developing our embedded AI software stack.

Your tasks
- Implement firmware on a deeply embedded AI platform with tight latency, memory, compute and energy constraints
- Collaborate with our AI and DSP experts to analyze Sonova’s audio AI algorithms for hearables and hearing aid applications
- Tailor AI algorithms to the embedded platform (e.g. quantization, scaling according to the memory and compute constraints)
- Optimize performance, energy, latency throughout the entire embedded AI software stack
Your profile
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Profound experience in embedded C/C++, Python, and object-oriented programming
- Experience with embedded neural networks and their deployment frameworks (TFLite, ONNX, TVM, …), compilers, micro NPUs and system simulations.
- Knowledge in audio processing would be a plus
- Fluent in English
