HSE Advisor – Service 80 – 100% (f/m/d)

About the Position 

In our service unit in Switzerland, we support the worldwide installation of gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) and generator circuit breakers (GCB) as well as local maintenance of transformers. As an HSE specialist, you are part of our dedicated HSE team and drive the continuous improvement of health, safety, and environmental management in our projects and processes.

What you can achieve

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant Swiss regulations as well as implementation of Hitachi Energy's HSE guidelines and standards

• Advising and supporting line managers, project managers, and field technicians on HSE issues

• Conducting risk analyses and deriving preventive measures

• Promoting an active safety culture and co-designing employee retention programs

• Investigating incidents, communicating findings, and implementing measures to prevent accidents

• Planning and conducting HSE training for all hierarchical levels

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training with an HSE-relevant focus (Swiss qualification preferred)

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the HSE field, ideally in an industrial or service environment

• Experience with management systems according to ISO 45001, 14001, or 50001 is desirable

• Practical knowledge as a field technician or production employee is a plus

• Strong project management and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills – written and oral

• Very good German and English skills; French skills are an advantage
