Logistics Specialist in the Frozen Storage Sector
Activities
- Receipt of temperature-controlled "fresh" goods
- Incoming goods inspections (quantity, temperature, quality, best before date)
- Posting and storage of goods
- Documentation of master and delivery data, discrepancies and daily closings
- Communication with various internal interfaces (email, phone, in person)
- Compliance with quality standards
- Main responsibility for goods receipt (day shifts), occasional assistance in other fresh goods departments or packing stations (evening shifts)
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a logistics specialist EFZ/EBA or several years of professional experience in the logistics sector
- Willingness to work in a cold storage (approx. +2 — +5 °C)
- Willingness to work Sunday to Friday in day shifts, occasionally evening shifts
- 5 working days per week, with Sunday being a fixed working day
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form are a prerequisite
- Networked thinking, structured and independent working style
- High quality standards as well as reliable compliance with safety regulations
- Team player, independent, resilient, communicative, flexible and assertive
- Physically fit and cold-resistant
- Experience with warehouse management systems, ideally LOGIS
