Engineer - Project Manager

APCO Technologies specializes in the design and manufacture of high-quality mechanical and electromechanical equipment for the space, naval, and energy industries.

Field of activity: Energy/Nuclear engineering, lifting equipment.

Your mission:

Be responsible for the technical, administrative, and financial management of lifting, handling, and positioning equipment projects for the nuclear industry.

Prepare cost estimates for the offers of our future projects that will be entrusted to you.

Handle reporting (quality/costs/deadlines) internally and with the client.

Coordinate studies, purchasing, manufacturing, subcontracting, testing, packaging, and shipments to clients.

Play a key role in client relations and coordination of internal stakeholders.

What you bring:

An engineering degree in the field of mechanics or machine design.

A strong technical background that allows you to understand the client's needs, then guide and optimize the designs to be carried out by our Design Offices.

Experience in writing technical and administrative documents.

At least 10 years of project management experience in the industrial field in mechanics, welded mechanical structure, control-command, or machine design, ideally for the nuclear industry.

High autonomy, initiative, and efficiency to achieve objectives while optimizing resource use.

Perfect mastery of MS-Office software and accustomed to working with an ERP.

Your talent as an excellent communicator in French and English (spoken and written) allows you to periodically gather your multidisciplinary teams to stimulate synergies and converge towards your project goals.

Your availability to travel in Switzerland and abroad (about 15% of your time) to meet our clients and subcontractors.
