Junior Sales Manager

Secheron's headquarters is located in Geneva, Switzerland. We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Junior Sales Manager to reinforce our team in Bangalore, where the successful candidate will develop activities as part of the Sécheron Hasler India team.

Responsibilities and key tasks, in this position, you will perform the following:

  • Define and coordinate sales strategy in synchronization with HQ in Switzerland
  • Meet, and/or exceed annual budgeted sales goals.
  • Seek out new opportunities in DC & AC traction power, existing and new customers in the rail business: transit, urban transport authorities (railways, metro, tramway etc.), as well as industrial opportunities (H2/mining/etc)
  • Promotion, Bid Preparation, Tendering and Acquisition actions according to the strategy, budget, action plan and special instructions established by the Head of Sales and marketing and/or requested by Clients and Partners on the market
  • Manage existing customer relationships to maintain and grow current business.
  • In charge of developing technical & commercial offers till contract signature.
  • Responsible for having excellent product & system knowledge.

For this position, we are looking for someone who ideally has:

  • Minimum of 5 years selling experience in rail, industrial BtoB environment with a focus on public tender.
  • Electrical Engineering degree.
  • Ability to manage simultaneously different projects & customers located in various parts of India and nearby countries (Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mauritius, etc.) and overseas.
  • Ability to travel as necessary (30%-40%).
  • Customer-oriented.
  • Ability to learn.
  • Open-mindedness, Dynamism, Flexibility
  • Interpersonal and relationship-building skills (Friendliness, Helpfulness)
  • Fluency in English and Hindi, any other languages are a plus (French, German, Spanish, etc...)
