What to expect
The Gruner branch in Stein is developing into a business unit for structural engineering, conversions, extensions, and strengthening projects in Northwestern Switzerland and the Central Plateau. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced individual who not only plans demanding projects but also takes responsibility, inspires clients, and actively shapes the further development of our branch. You can expect varied tasks with great creative freedom, direct client contact, and technically challenging projects in new construction and especially in existing buildings.
Responsibility for demanding projects
You independently lead structural projects and project teams and accompany construction projects from the initial idea to successful completion. In particular, you take on:
Structural engineering with a focus on existing buildings
You work on technically demanding issues concerning existing structures and develop sustainable solutions for complex interventions in load-bearing structures.
Client care and market development
As an important contact person, you represent Gruner to our clients and project partners.
Your profileResponsibility for demanding projects
You independently lead structural projects and project teams and accompany construction projects from the initial idea to successful completion. In particular, you take on:
- Management of demanding projects in the field of structural engineering
- Leadership of new builds, conversions, extensions, changes of use, and strengthening projects
- Development of economical and structurally convincing structural concepts
- Coordination of clients, architects, specialist planners, and contractors
- Ensuring efficient, quality- and deadline-compliant project execution
Structural engineering with a focus on existing buildings
You work on technically demanding issues concerning existing structures and develop sustainable solutions for complex interventions in load-bearing structures.
- Structural calculations and verifications in new and existing buildings
- Analysis and assessment of existing structures
- Development of reinforcement, conversion, and strengthening concepts
- Support of implementation up to realisation on site
- Professional support and promotion of younger team members
Client care and market development
As an important contact person, you represent Gruner to our clients and project partners.
- Maintenance and development of existing client relationships
- Building and maintaining a strong network in the region
- Active participation in acquiring new projects
- Support in further expanding our market position in Northwestern Switzerland and the Central Plateau
- Completed studies in civil engineering (BSc/MSc ETH, FH, TU or equivalent)
- Several years of experience in structural engineering and project management in building construction
- Sound knowledge of interventions in load-bearing structures as well as strengthening and reinforcement measures
- Enjoyment of client contact and developing long-term partnerships
- Entrepreneurial thinking and a high sense of responsibility
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Team-oriented personality with pleasure in leading project teams
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written
