About the job

The Zurich University of Teacher Education actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Center for School Development investigates school change processes triggered both by internal school initiatives and external requirements. Besides describing such processes, a central task is to support school practice through systematically collected data and derived results.
The project "Equipping Swiss EdTech with Pedagogical Terms and Conditions," funded within the framework of the digitization initiative of Zurich universities, aims to equip Swiss EdTech with pedagogical usage conditions. Schools increasingly rely on EdTech for teaching and administration but have difficulties assessing the pedagogical suitability and quality of products. The position holder helps develop a non-profit organization that creates a "label" with clear criteria to certify solid EdTech solutions in the Swiss context, support procurement decisions, and advise developers.
