At the Kalktarren school building, we want to rethink school step by step.

Individual coaching with students, project-based teaching, as well as considerations of alternative learning and time structures (away from the pure 45-minute rhythm) are goals of our school development; not finished concepts.

For this, we are looking for a class teacher who is willing to think along, help shape, and learn with us.

Tandem applications are expressly welcome.

For our Kalktarren school building, we are looking for a class teacher for a 1st secondary class B/C starting August 1, 2026, who accompanies our students with joy, expertise, and passion on their educational path.

Class Teacher(s) 1st Secondary Class Level B and/or C (80%-100%)

Your main tasks

• Class teacher of a multicultural 1st secondary class level B/C or C (with 3 parallel classes)
• Building sustainable relationships with the students
• Designing lessons with openness to new learning forms
• Willingness to gradually establish individual coaching and project-oriented approaches
• Collaboration within the team, with parents, and school management
• Active participation in development processes at class and school level

Your profile

• Teaching diploma with EDK recognition
• Enjoyment in working with adolescents and relationship work
• Interest in coaching approaches, project teaching, and school development
• Openness to try new things – even if not everything is defined yet
• Committed, empathetic, and reflective personality with humor
• Tandems who want to take responsibility together are warmly welcome
