• The SCAT's mission is to ensure sustainable development of the territory. Its forward-looking and regulatory action aims both to protect the natural bases of life and to create a harmonious built environment free of hazards, favorable to housing, social life, and economic activities. It establishes the cantonal master plan, controls the conformity of municipal plans with planning rules, and coordinates building permit procedures. The service is being strengthened as part of the revision of municipal development plans.

As a planner, you collaborate on all tasks related to the "local and regional planning" section, notably by ensuring conformity reviews of general revisions of municipal development plans, detailed zoning plans (PS, PQ, etc.), and municipal master plans. You provide technical support to municipalities, draft reports, decisions, and notes, and coordinate the reports of cantonal services. Finally, you ensure the implementation of the cantonal master plan and the quality of urbanization.

With a master's degree in geography, ETH architecture, or an equivalent qualification, your background is complemented by training in spatial planning and at least 5 years of experience in this field, acquired within a private office or an administration. Equipped with good knowledge of federal and cantonal legislation on spatial planning, you have skills in geographic information systems GIS, particularly QGIS. Finally, you demonstrate strong writing skills and a proven sense of communication and negotiation.
