Do you want to leverage your industry knowledge by managing your own portfolio of banks and securities houses and take responsibility for institutions, from authorization to the end of the regulation? Then this position is for you.
- Independent processing of changes to authorization conditions concerning banks (in particular, changes in management, adjustments to regulations, and restructurings).
- Support for exciting authorization projects and management of new authorization procedures for banks and securities houses.
- Point of contact for project managers, regulated entities, legal representatives, audit firms, and foreign supervisory authorities.
- Examination of interesting legal issues related to corporate governance as well as the regulation of innovative business models.
- Close collaboration with the supervisory areas and cross-functional roles of FINMA.
- Completed university education in law, with solid experience in financial market law.
- Good knowledge of the operational and legal conditions for the appropriate organization of a bank.
- Several years of experience in financial market law within a bank, an audit firm, a regulatory authority, or a law firm.
- Well-developed analytical and judgment skills, as well as the ability to manage files independently.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Professional attitude and ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
- Very good knowledge of the French language (C2) and good knowledge of German and English (B2).
