We are looking for a sacristan and caretaker with a 50-60% workload starting January 1, 2026. The position can also be divided between two people. This role is an important part of parish life. Your commitment and demeanor significantly shape the appearance of our parish and church. Your tasks
- Preparing and following up on church services, religious celebrations, and events
- Presence during liturgical celebrations and events
- Providing floral decorations and decorations for liturgical occasions
- Care of liturgical vestments and objects
- Maintenance and cleaning of church premises
- Inspection and maintenance including cleaning of sanitary facilities
- Opening and closing the church and chapel in the mornings and evenings
- Maintenance and cleaning of the parish house and its surroundings (including
- Cooperation with staff and the secretariat We expect
- Interest in parish life
- Creativity
- Reliable, independent, and careful working style
- Good team and communication skills, very good knowledge of German
- Willingness to work on weekends, holidays, and occasionally evenings We offer
