The Riviera-Chablais Hospital, Vaud-Valais (HRC), is an inter-cantonal reference hospital, bringing together more than 2,000 employees. The Rennaz Hospital Center has more than 350 acute care beds. It is complemented by two Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics as well as two medical on-call services. The Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics welcome patients for Rehabilitation, Acute Geriatrics with early rehabilitation.
To complete our Patient Service Unit team, at our Geriatrics and Rehabilitation Clinics, we are looking for a:
Receptionist-admissionist at 60% (Permanent contract)
with irregular hours (weekends and public holidays)
The main missions of this position are
- Welcome, administratively take charge of and direct the patient
- Manage the patient admission (registration): collect and verify their personal and insurance documents and information, ensure correct entry of their data into the computer system (patient administrative file), ensure the exhaustive reliability of administrative data according to current standards (FHV, SwissDRG, agreements, etc.), request a financial advance if necessary
- Respond to information requests and manage internal and external telephone calls
- Carry out administrative tasks related to patient management and the smooth running of the service
We require
- A commercial employee CFC or an equivalent qualification
- Interpersonal skills (empathy, active listening, service orientation)
- Strong organizational skills and precision, as well as good quality in task execution
- Stress resistance and ability to work under pressure
- Availability to work irregular hours (including nights, evenings, weekends, and public holidays)
- Comfort with MS Office and office tools
- Fluency in French (spoken and written) and good knowledge of English
