- You continuously develop and implement global material group strategies with your team – in close coordination with specialist departments and international locations.
- You recognize internal needs and market developments early and proactively derive procurement strategies and supplier decisions from them.
- You support project purchasing and development in the product creation process with your team by selecting strategic suppliers to ensure target costs.
- You independently organize annual price negotiations with national and international key suppliers to ensure optimal conditions.
- You lead strategic purchasing projects focusing on supply security, quality improvement, and sustainable cost optimization.
- You initiate and implement process optimizations and standardizations, including digitization, automation, and the introduction of modern tools.
- You ensure compliance with legal and normative requirements – from LkSG to ESG criteria.
- You lead the international team of strategic purchasers both professionally and disciplinarily and specifically develop competencies and collaboration.
What it takes
- A completed technical or business degree – ideally with a focus on purchasing or supply chain management.
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, including several years in a leadership role, preferably in the electronics environment.
- Proven success in developing and implementing global material group strategies.
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness at both national and international levels, especially in price negotiations and contract conclusions.
- Solid knowledge of purchasing processes, contract law, and compliance requirements (e.g., LkSG, ESG criteria).
- Experience with modern purchasing systems and tools (e.g., SAP, e-procurement platforms).
- Strong analytical skills, structured working style, and leadership experience in international teams.
- Very good German and English skills as well as willingness to travel in an international environment.
