The Medical Clinic ensures a holistic and integrated care for patients with its inpatient services (80 acute beds, a specialized palliative care department with 11 beds), a medical admission ward, a medical outpatient clinic, and its specialties. We employ 30 assistant doctors and around 25 senior doctors from all specialties of internal medicine.

Your tasks:

• You will take over the personnel, organizational, and business management of the Medical Clinic (resource management, budget planning, and personnel management)
• You will ensure with your team that our patients in the Medical Clinic receive competent care
• You will maintain close collaboration with the clinics and departments in the hospital
• You will coordinate the collaboration with the specialists of the departments
• As a member of the management of Spital STS AG, you will take responsibility and actively shape the future of Spital STS AG
• You are responsible for the training and further education mandate as a SIWF-recognized training institution

• You hold the specialist title in General Internal Medicine and possibly a second specialist title
• Habilitation is desired
• In addition to clinical work, you have a special interest in medical training and education as well as in the areas of organization/management
• You have gained broad clinical experience in a Medical Clinic in Switzerland or abroad in your previous work
• You have many years of proven leadership experience in the development and motivation of interdisciplinary teams
• You are characterized by pronounced communication skills, enjoy clinical work in a collegial and committed team, and can inspire your colleagues for the exciting but also challenging work in the Medical Clinic
• You place great value on interdisciplinary collaboration
