Medical secretary for the Morges polyclinic
We are looking for a medical secretary for the psychiatry polyclinic in Morges at a 60% rate. The starting date is scheduled for January 1, 2026.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Morges outpatient consultation provides comprehensive and multidisciplinary care for anyone suffering from mental disorders and residing in western Vaud. This consultation works closely with other department services and strives to offer quality and excellence services.
The Morges Outpatient Consultation receives:
- adults (all pathologies) for diagnosis, treatment, and care of mental and behavioral disorders
- people over 65 facing mental health difficulties, support consultations for relatives, multidisciplinary consultations, and mental and psychological health assessments.
Mission
- You ensure telephone and physical reception of patients and their relatives for the consultation
- Guide patients
- Manage phone calls and forward them to the relevant professionals
- You handle the administrative management of patients
- Admissions, data updates, file closures
- You manage the medical records
- Appointment letters, medical reports, various correspondence
- Archiving
- You ensure the management of administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the unit
- Participation in meetings
- Mail management and distribution.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a Commercial Employee or equivalent training - ideally complemented by a medical secretary diploma
- You have at least 3 years of autonomous secretarial experience
- You have perfect command of the French language (spoken and written) - knowledge of a foreign language is an asset
- You have advanced skills in common IT tools - knowledge of institutional IT tools is an asset
- You have a service-oriented mindset and can integrate into a multidisciplinary team
- You know how to adapt your communication to the context and demonstrate empathy, a spirit of mutual aid, and collaboration
- You are highly flexible and have a sense of organization and priorities
- You are already familiar with the structures and operations of Vaud state services and parapublic bodies related to the Psychiatry Service activity.
