What you can achieve
- Expand Swiss defense capability with and against drones (Loitering Munition / Strike Drone, Interceptor Drone, Counter-UAV)
- Participate in Swiss drone initiatives or initiate new initiatives with innovative concept proposals for the customer
- Expand the Swiss network in the military and civilian sectors and position the RUAG Drones Business Unit in the Swiss drone community
- Participate in relevant national conferences and technology round tables with the VBS and collaborate with startups
- Negotiate with potential customers and partners
- Support and win VBS drone project tenders
- Implement won projects including building and leading the implementation team
- Support product managers with technology expertise and technology development roadmaps
- Actively contribute to the strategic development and overall strategy of the "Drones" business segment
What you bring
- Bachelor / Master degree in a technical field e.g. IT, mechanical engineering, aerospace (PhD desirable)
- Several years of professional experience
- Extensive expertise in the field of drones, especially in development and their operational applications
- Active Swiss network in the drone sector
- Strong negotiation skills as well as sound economic and strategic thinking
- High self-initiative and entrepreneurial mindset
- Good German and English skills, spoken and written
