Job Description

For turnkey complete installations:

• Instrument list / PID
• Detailed instrument specifications
• Pre-calculation of instruments / cables
• Establishment of technical specifications and purchase requisitions
• Comparison of technical offers from suppliers
• Monitoring vendor drawings with validation according to standards and project specifications.
• Wiring diagrams
• Clarification meetings and M.O.M + Response to requests
• Installation studies (Junction boxes; Cable book)

Qualifications

Education

• Technical or university degree in instrumentation, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• Practical experience in instrument installation, calibration, and maintenance.
• Additional training in safety and regulations would be an
• asset.

Required Skills & Qualities

• Experience within a Claus unit
• In-depth knowledge of instruments and measurement systems used in engineering.
• Technical skills in electronics, instrumentation, and mechanics.
• Ability to interpret & analyze data collected by instruments.
• Problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Rigorous and organized
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• French and English

Experience

• Minimum 10 years in a similar role and in an Oil & Gas environment
