Track Service Technician / Track Service Technician (100%)
As a track service technician, you are the key person to ensure the proper execution of the construction site and take on tasks involving great responsibility. You plan and carry out the construction and maintenance of the railway infrastructure on and/or near the tracks, continuously guarantee the proper execution of the work, and ensure compliance with standards and safety on the construction sites.
This position is part of a replacement following a retirement, thus offering the opportunity to take on an essential role for the proper functioning and sustainability of the railway infrastructure.
Do you recognize yourself in the following?
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a railway track builder. The federal foreman railway track certificate is an asset
- You have completed training in construction site safety regulations (RTE 20'100 course)
- You have 3 to 5 years of proven experience in the railway sector, in a role involving team leadership or coordination and/or the organization of railway track construction sites
- You are comfortable using MS Office office tools
- You hold a category B driving license. A trailer license is an asset
- You have perfect command of French (level C1)
Do these tasks inspire you?
- You plan, organize, supervise, and coordinate the work of the track teams
- You organize and participate in maintenance and troubleshooting work on track installations
- You organize construction work for new installations in collaboration with other departments and third-party companies
- You continuously ensure the proper execution of the work, taking into account the objectives set in terms of deadlines, costs, and quality
- You apply and enforce the rules relating to construction site and personnel safety according to the assigned role (RTE 20'100)
- You ensure the application of safety rules and regulatory compliance on construction sites, notably ensuring: compliance with current instructions (SUVA), application of prescriptions, directives, and regulations according to the assigned role (RTE 20'100), as well as monitoring maintenance protocols for railway installations
- You assist the manager in operational personnel management
- You contribute to the proper management of stocks and tools
- You undertake interventions as part of the on-call service
