Your new role
As a Project Engineer, you will participate in the planning and realization of waste incineration plants in Switzerland and also in international projects. In addition to waste incineration projects, you will also work on district heating projects, energy centers, and other varied and challenging tasks. Your daily work offers great creative freedom and you will take on comprehensive responsibility. You can always rely on the support of experts in Zurich and the global Ramboll network.
Your main tasks will be the following:
- You will work closely with project management and support the implementation of projects to supply Swiss cities with renewable energy and to utilize waste.
- You will participate in feasibility studies and independently develop the corresponding foundations and represent them to customers.
- In optimization and modernization projects, you will develop possible optimization concepts and assess them from an economic perspective. Then, as part of the project team, you will be responsible for execution until handover to the customer.
- In new construction projects, you will be independently responsible for the design and handling of subsystems of the overall plant. You will be accountable for these within the overall project and coordinate the services with various Ramboll specialists.

To get started with us, you should bring the following qualifications:
- You have a university degree (FH or ETH), preferably in mechanical engineering or environmental engineering
- You have in-depth knowledge in process engineering and process design
- You are interested in working in the field of environment and climate protection.
- You think and act entrepreneurially, proactively, and customer-oriented
- You have excellent German language skills.
