YOUR MISSION: LEAD, PROMOTE, ADVANCE
You take over the operational management of a networked company with four locations in Staad (CH), Zurich (CH), Schnaittach (DE), and Teplice (CZ). Together with Hermann Bauer, our experienced COO, you will further develop operational excellence and systematically grow into full COO responsibility.
YOUR CORE TASKS INCLUDE:
- Operational management and development of our teams at all locations
- Coordination and optimization of cross-location processes
- Direct involvement in corporate development in a rapidly growing market environment
- Responsibility for both business areas: General Aviation and Commercial Aviation Services

Co-COO of the AeroVisto Group: YOUR POSITION IN DETAIL
Location: Staad (SG), Switzerland or flexible with regular presence at all locations
Workload: 100%
Reporting line: Directly to COO
Goal: Full takeover of the COO role within 12–24 months
YOUR PATH TO COO – structured and clearly defined
This position offers you a clearly defined career path: You start as Co-COO alongside Hermann Bauer and systematically grow into full operational leadership responsibility. The structured development plan enables you to gradually take responsibility for locations, processes, teams, and results.
YOUR TASKS AND DEVELOPMENT PHASES
Phase 1: Co-COO (6–18 months) – Learn, lead, shape
- Support the current COO in overall operational management (Staad, Schnaittach, Zurich)
- Lead individual key operational projects – e.g., process optimization, capacity control, digitalization
- Take responsibility for specific areas – e.g., production, logistics, projects, controlling
- Lead and develop department and team leaders in close coordination with management
- Contribute to the development of location and investment strategies
- Participate in all relevant decision-making and leadership rounds
Phase 2: COO (after 12–24 months) – Full responsibility
- All tasks according to classic COO profile, including:
- Overall responsibility for operational results (revenue, EBIT, utilization, quality)
- Leadership of all operational units
- Location development & strategic implementation
YOUR PROFILE
You meet these requirements:
- 5–10 years of experience in operational management
- Strong executor & doer
- High social competence
- Numerical understanding & basic controlling knowledge
- Willingness to learn & development mindset
- Fluent in German & English
- Mobile & flexible
You should bring:
- Ideally experience in aviation, MRO, or production
- Experience in plant or project management
- Ability to lead teams, moderate conflicts
- Experience with budget or
- key figure responsibility
- Desire to grow, take responsibility, shape
- Communication with customers & team
- Travel activity between CH and DE possible
