Every year, many people take the leap into professional life with us as cooks and chefs, kitchen staff EBA, health professionals (FaGe), health and social assistants (AGS), hospitality and housekeeping professionals EFZ and EBA, as well as commercial employees. Or complete a Nursing Specialist HF degree.

The Dielsdorf Health Center is a modern geriatric competence center with around 500 employees from 35 nations. Our services range from counseling for elderly people and their relatives to general and specialized long-term care, as well as home care and support. As the largest public Spitex in the Dielsdorf district, we provide outpatient services for our nine contract municipalities. With our comprehensive care services, we enable people to stay in their familiar homes as long as possible despite health limitations. In the future, it is planned to establish a night Spitex.

• Care, support, and counseling of our clients at home
• Ensuring the care process
• Case management and conducting needs assessments in tandem with a certified nursing specialist
• Creation, adjustment, and evaluation of care documentation
• Conducting counseling sessions
• Accurate recording of service data
• Collaboration with relatives, doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and other specialist agencies
• Integrated 6-month external internship in inpatient acute and transitional care
• Training duration: 3 years (shortened HF studies of 2 years possible with completed apprenticeship as health professional EFZ) or 3 to 4 years in part-time education
• Own Learning Transfer Training (LTT), including regular exchange with HF students from partner companies

• Completed apprenticeship as health professional EFZ, Matura or equivalent

• Good German skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1)

• Empathy and high social competence in dealing with clients and their relatives

• Practical understanding, strong sense of responsibility, and independent working style

• Active and situation-appropriate relationship and communication skills

• Resilient, sociable, and humorous personality with good observation skills

• Enjoyment in working for and with people

• Willingness to further develop professional knowledge and make an important contribution to the success of our health center

• Attended information event on Nursing HF studies at a higher technical school ZAG or Careum and/or registered
