IT Project Manager

Project management at ELCA is not about administration but about delivering first-class performance. Therefore, we are looking for several personalities who are able to take responsibility and lead the team to a great result. You are a passionate, pragmatic, and interdisciplinary project manager with a proven technical background, capable of leading demanding development and integration projects throughout the entire project cycle. You enjoy being in a key position to develop exciting and modern IT solutions at the interface between the customer and our interdisciplinary teams.

Your tasks

• You manage our customer projects from planning to acceptance
• You create offers and customer presentations and support pre-sales activities up to contract negotiations
• You are responsible for meeting deadlines, budgets, and resource planning
• You apply modern and effective project methods (agile and classical project methodology) and further develop them
• You ensure compliance with internal quality guidelines
• You regularly evaluate project risks and define appropriate measures
• You take the lead of experienced architects and software engineers in projects
• You coordinate the work with our offshore developers
• You actively communicate with the customer and support them to make their project a success
• You actively participate in the projects to ensure project success

Your profile

• Technical degree from a university/ETH/FH is required
• Several years of professional experience as a project manager leading software projects
• Familiarity with one or more development methods (Scrum, HERMES, RUP, etc.)
• You are well versed in project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
• Experience in managing projects with budgets > CHF 500k and leading a team of more than 5 people
• Hands-on mentality as well as a positive and pragmatic working style
• Very good communication and presentation skills with various stakeholders
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for customers from different industries as well as experience in pre-sales
• Fluent in German and English, French is an advantage
