Your Area of Responsibility
- Responsibility for processing incoming and outgoing mail and parcels as well as courier shipments within contractual guidelines
- Ensuring correct triage and timely delivery of incoming mail
- Timely and quality processing of incoming mail and parcels according to customer-specific rules (reading and assigning to the responsible department)
- Proper investigation and handling of returns
- Delivery of shipments within the building and partly performing courier tours with the vehicle
- Proper preparation, sorting, and handover of shipments for outgoing mail including courier shipments
- Performing additional logistical services for customers
- Handling customer inquiries personally, by phone, or by email
- Forwarding complex issues to the team leader
- Maintenance and care of equipment in the mailroom
- Support in collecting shipment volumes for statistics and performance measurements
- Independent implementation of optimization potentials in the sense of continuous improvement processes
- Cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles
- Close cooperation with customers as well as team members and cross-team in the central mailroom
Your Profile
- Completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ Distribution or comparable training
- Experience in the field of PostMail, postal logistics, or comparable logistics activities
- Reliable, honest, and independent personality with precise working methods
- High teamwork skills and strong customer orientation
- Polished manners
- Driver's license category B
- Physically resilient and good on foot
- Willingness to work flexible hours and special assignments
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, additional languages are an advantage
- Clean criminal and debt register extract
